About Us

Founded in 2015 in San Francisco, GTM Media began as Sotoventures Media, producing documentaries and podcasts inside Silicon Valley’s startup and venture ecosystem. Early on, we championed the idea that B2B brands needed to think like media companies – and soon began helping SaaS startups and venture capital firms turn that belief into high-performing video content. Today, GTM Media is a full-service video and live production studio, trusted by hundreds of innovative brands across Silicon Valley and beyond.

Jorge Soto

Founder & CEO

Jorge Soto is a multi-disciplinary entrepreneur and the founder of GTM Media, where he blends strategy, storytelling, and production to help brands to bring ideas to market.

A former Twitter leader and early MoPub operator, he’s spent decades building startups across GTM, product, and sales.

Jorge is also the host of #StartupsUnedited, a long-running show spotlighting founders, investors, and the real craft of building - without the hype.

Pedro I De Matteis

Partner & Creative Director

Pedro I De Matteis
is an interdisciplinary artist and creative director working across sound, image, and motion.

He collaborates with global brands and creative agencies to shape distinctive audio-visual identities, bringing a refined, experimental edge to commercial storytelling while keeping craft, texture, and emotion at the center of every project.

He is formally trained in Electroacoustic Composition and Sound Design at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, with continued studies at Universidad Kennedy.

Sophie De Matteis

Senior Producer

Sophie De Matteis is a Senior Producer and artist at heart, blending creative intuition with disciplined execution.

With a deep appreciation for storytelling, visual composition, and emotion, she helps shape projects from early concept through final delivery.

Sophie brings a calm, thoughtful presence to every production - balancing artistry and precision to ensure each piece feels intentional, authentic, and beautifully crafted.

Maite Aranaz-Soto

Operations

Maite Aranaz-Soto is the operations leader at GTM Media, bringing structure, discipline, and clarity to fast-moving creative work.

She oversees financial operations, systems, and internal processes that keep projects running smoothly while enabling the creative team to do their best work.

With a strong operational mindset and a deep appreciation for creativity, Maite ensures GTM Media scales with intention, efficiency, and integrity.
